Maja Vidmar: It’s always hard to sit down and write news that are not so exciting or positive. But here it is, my update form the past few weeks which was a pretty hard time for me. My finger doesn’t let me train normally for some time now. It started before Arco but I wanted to go there anyway. My plan was to ignore the pain and perform like everything is fine. At the end I realized that this wasn’t a very good idea and that I can’t just ignore it and keep training and competing like it’s nothing. And all that made me think, a lot. All kinds of craziness went through my mind.

I should be in Puurs for the World Cup right now, competing, but I stayed home. I have to give my finger some time to heal and I also need to increase my motivation and performance level before I go back to crushing some comps.
