@reelrock 18 premiere in Boulder CO

Sachi Amma: 全世界で最も有名なクライミング映画制作会社Senderfilmの人気作品、Reel Rock18がついにプレミア。短編の4作品が含まれており、実は僕が2022年に登った瑞牆山、大ヤスリ岩の”最後の者”の映像がWith My Heartという作品として入っています。

中学生の頃、 ホームジムだった @lostcanyon_official に行くといつもSenderfilmのDosage I が流れており、僕はきっと100回近く観て育った。Josh が暗い部屋で編集をしていて、クリスがRealizationを登る。何も知らない少年にその映像は刺激的で、大きな影響を与えた。

そんな彼らと一緒に仕事をし、そしてpremiereの舞台で自分の作品を観ていただき、大勢の観客の前でお話をさせていただいたことは、僕にとってとてつもなく大きなことでした。一つの夢が叶い、いまだに消化しきれないフワフワとした感覚の中にいます。

プレミアには、 @angiescarthjohnson @honngy @icevince @mattgroom1 @danyil_boldyrev and @ali_logvynenko が参加しました。Deep water solo、アルパイン、トラッド、そしてウクライナのClimbing never die。どれも全く違ったエッセンスがある素晴らしい作品です。お近くのスクリーンで観れる方は是非足を運んでみてください。

最後に、ディレクターのジョシュ、ピート、ザック、ニックには多大な感謝をしたい。そしてたくさんサポートしてくださったスタッフの方々、本当にありがとう。

The world’s most famous climbing film production company, @senderfilms , finally premiered its popular Reel Rock 18 includes four short films. My memorable FA “The last one” in Mt. Mizugaki in Japan is in the film called With My Heart.

When I was in junior high school, Senderfilm’s Dosage 1 used to play at my home gym, and I must have watched it close to a hundred times growing up. @joshlowell editing in a dark room and @chris_sharma climbing Realization. As a young boy who didn’t know any better, the images were exciting and had a huge impact on me.

To work with them, to have my work seen on the premiere stage, and to be able to speak in front of a large audience, was an incredible thing for me. It was a dream come true, and I am still in a fluffy feeling that I can’t fully digest.

The premiere brought together climbers who have appeared in films. @angiescarthjohnson @honngy @icevince @mattgroom1 @danyil_boldyrev and @ali_logvynenko . Deep water solo, Alpine, Trad, and Climbing never die in Ukraine, all of which are wonderful films with very different essences. If you can watch it on a screen near you, please come and watch it!
